Duties and Responsibilities


Principal Chief Electrical Engineer:
The Principal Chief Electrical Engineer is overall Incharge of Electrical Department.
 
Chief Electrical Engineer/D&Q:
Chief Electrical Engineer/D&Q is entrusted with the responsibilities of Quality, ISO Cell, Service Improvement Group (SIG), Loco Drawing Office, Receipt Inspection, C&M Lab, TTC, Incentive and NRC Business. He is assisted by Dy.Chief Quality Manager, Dy.Chief Electrical Engineer/Inspection, Dy.Chief Electrical Engineer/Design and Dy.Chief Mechanical Engineer/Design for these assignments. 
 
Chief Electrical Service Engineer:
Chief Electrical Service Engineer is entrusted with the responsibilities of Electrical Power Supply Services, Plant Maintenance, Safety & M&P, Traction Machine Shop and Civil Engineering.  He is assisted by SEE/ES & Plant, Dy.CME/Plant, Dy.CME/TMS and Dy.CE, for all these activities respectively.
 
Chief Electrical Engineer/Loco:
Chief Electrical Engineer/Loco is entrusted with the responsibilities of out-turn of locomotives and 8W-DETCs and other rolling stocks. He is assisted by Dy.CME/Loco.
 
Dy. Chief Quality Manager:
He is responsible for Receipt Inspection, C&M Lab, SIG Cell Quality Issues of DMW Products, Warranty Obligations, Legal compliances, ISO Cell, TTC, and Incentive Cell & NRC Business.
 
Dy. Chief Electrical Engineer/Inspection:
He is responsible for Development and Prototype inspection of Loco and DETC items, new items like EoTT, DPWCS, CVVRS etc and Monitoring of Quality through newly proposed Quality Cell.
 
Dy. Chief Electrical Engineer/Design:
He is responsible for Design, Co-ordination of Electrical items of Locos, DETC and Loco Drawing Office. Dealing with tender cases regarding technical evaluation of electrical items. 
 
Dy. Chief Mechanical Engineer/Design:
He is responsible for Design. Co-ordination of Mechanical items of Locos, DETC and Loco Drawing Office. Dealing with tender cases regarding technical evaluation of mechanical items. 
 
Dy. Chief Mechanical Engineer/Plant:
He is responsible for all activities of Plant Maintenance, Safety & M&P.
 
Sr. Electrical Engineer/Electrical Services and plant.
She is responsible for Electrical Power supply services to workshop and colonies and assist Dy.CME/Plant for all activities of Plant Maintenance, Safety & M&P.
 
Dy. Chief Mechanical Engineer/TMS:
He is responsible for all manufacturing activities of Traction Machine Shop and Coil Shop.
 
Dy. Chief Engineer (Dy.CE):
He is responsible for all activities related to Civil Engineering Deptt.
 
Dy. Chief Mechanical Engineer/Loco:
He is responsible for manufacturing of Electrical Loco and 8W-DETCs and all other activities carried out in Loco Assembly Shops viz. Loco Assembly Shop (LAS), Electrical & Commissioning Shop (ECS), Air Brake Shop (ABS), & Light Fabrication Shop (LFS).
